So, my current audio obsession is “E.T” by Katy Perry and here’s why. The song is simple but easy on the ears and she looks awesome in her many alien outfits. At one point, she even looks like an updated Plavalaguna (2 points for you if you know who she is). Now mind you, Katy Perry can’t SING like Plavalaguna. In fact, she can’t sing at all. If it weren’t for her overproduced vocals, she’d sound like she gargled with barbed cock jizz. Don’t know what that is but I assume it’s as horrible as it sounds. Anyway, the song is awesome but the video really makes the track. Only thing is that Kanye West wanders in, leaves and then comes back. I later discovered his tracks were added post production which made his addition even more clumsy. Ah well, music is music and aliens are cool…unless they’re trying to kill us. But we’ve got Will Smith AND Steven Spielberg so we’ll be fine.

I know what you mean! I’m almost as stuck on this song as I am on Fireflies by Owl City. Completely different types of songs which appeal to me in very different ways but they both resonate with me so strongly.
