Some of you called it.
Bea bonks Alan. News at 11.
Brütal Legend, f yeah! 😀
aww, she cares.
A little off-topic, but I was sort of hoping Bea was going to have to be a little more…forceful with Ship, i.e., Bea would have had to overcome Ship’s objections by using the bottle like a vacuum. I sort of have this *ahem* thing for genies being sucked into their bottles/lamps/whatever.
Anyways….loving this story so far, as I’ve loved all the others.
Thanks for the compliment.
I… have seen this particular “interest” when I briefly frequented “A Bottle of Djinn” Yahoo Group. I will say this: I’m not ruling it out as a plot device in a future episode, but it will most likely never be employed by one of our heroes. Given that “Project: Wacko” had Beatrice positioned seemingly as a villain, I’d like to clarify that a little: she’s not actually an “Evil Genius” so much as she is really a “Mad Scientist”. This fact was clarified by Ship’s dialog in the near-end sequence.
Since Ship in a Bottle is firmly pegged as a “lighthearted sex comedy,” I tend to keep the divisions between “good” and “evil” to their stereotypical norms. Especially when it serves for comedic effect. I just see forcing anyone to do things that are against their will as being an act of wickedness, which would make Beatrice firmly in the “evil” category. Since she has been “redeemed” in the storyline, I feel it would be contrary to our established motif. But, like I said: other characters yet to be introduced can do anything until they are either “redeemed” as good, or “discarded” as evil. 😉
I hope that helps. Thanks for reading. ^^
Mace, you don’t have explain yourself to a shmoe like me, although I am glad and rather impressed with your rationale as to character’s actions.
I sort of feel like I should apologize because, on reading this again, I feel like maybe I was being a little to critical and trying to project what I personally wanted to see. I really shouldn’t be using my own little fetishes as a vehicle for any criticism, so I think an apology is in order…I’m sorry =)
Keep up the great work! Looking forward to see where this story goes!
No, it’s fine. I try and respond to every comment. Someday, that may be impossible, but since I can at the present, I will. Besides: I didn’t say “no” forever. I’m just saving something like that until it fits the story properly. ;3
I think if the bottle shook now, it would only make her madder. It be like whalloping someone with a magical hornet nest.
I love the fact that you used the word “walloping”. XD
You should totally show Ship getting bounced around inside her bottle during this moment.
I like to think of her bottle as more of a “pocket dimension” than an actual vessel. lol
Awww, too bad…it would have made for some sexy visuals. ^^
Nice tag selection, Mace. “Wishes he wasn’t a dumbass.” Classic. XD
Seriously, that’s gotta be one sturdy bottle. Probably hurts like hell.
Thank you, thank you. I’m here all week. XD
They made things for keepsies 2000 years ago. 😉
Tag: “wishes he wasn’t a dumbass” epic xD
Wonder how Ship feels inside the bottle, shaken and/or stirred from Bea bonking Alan? 0o
As I said to Magnus: I like to think of the inside of the bottle as more of a “pocket dimension” than a prison. XD
I think we still deserve to have a look inside the bottle regardless! 😀
