As a sort of review, I wanted to let folks know what they personally can do to support us in our efforts. Obviously, the biggest help to Nat and I are the donations and incentives. but for those who are in the same boat we are (i.e. no money lol), you can still help. A lot. And you can accomplish this by voting daily at the two sites I have chosen to list our comic on. Both of them help us in unique ways. WebcomicZ is a full-featured listing site that has detailed statistics, a seemingly tight community atmosphere and the site owners and members do comic reviews. Meanwhile, Top Webcomics (TWC on the button) is a “clearinghouse” of comics. It’s one of the oldest and largest popularity based listing sites left. The benefits here are obvious: higher ranking = more traffic.

So, how can you help? Easy. In addition to voting both sites, what we REALLY need is for folks to sign up for an account at WebcomicZ and add Ship in a Bottle to their FAVORITES. I’m not precisely sure what formula is used to determine ranking there, but it is HEAVILY influenced by comics with many favorites. Look at Starship Moonhawk: idle for months, yet remains #35. I’m not bragging, mind you, but I am pointing out how my observational science works here. I figure if we can get Ship in a Bottle to 20 or more favorites, it’ll jump significantly in ranking. Which will result in more readers and hopefully more “Bonus” materials. So even if you have no ability to contribute financially, it’s ok. You can still help us significantly, regardless.

Wassup mah bizznatches?! So, this is actually LAST week’s installment, but thanks to me going back to a rougher schedule at work for a while, things got a little hairy. Anyway, I think I am back on Track and Nat will be comin’ back at us with an update I *HOPE* I can post Saturday and get us back on schedule.

As it stands, Alan got (predictably) curb-stomped for his lechery, and rightly so. I wonder… will Ship give him a lesson on life on page 11? Hmmm. As if he hasn’t learned a valuable one already. Oh, ho, ho, ho!

Also, page 3 of the donation comic is live in the Bonus gallery, folks. Plus, we still have half the month left if you want a sneak preview of events AFTER “Project: Wacko” ahead of schedule in all their porny goodness in a little episode I like to call “Time to get ~~Clean~~ Dirty: Part 2!” Expect some girl x girl action and Alan watching the show, all for your viewing pleasure. Speaking of: the donation incentive image will be her over the weekend. So keep it comin’, folks!

Hey there, Shippers! (that’s my new name for you who are fans of Ship in a Bottle, and yes, I do know there’s another meaning for that term. It still applies. ) Were you aware that the hard-earned money you clanked down is starting to pay off? Page 2 of the bonus story “Dancing With the Stars” is now up in the Bonus gallery, soon to be followed by page 3. (which will contain 100% more penis for our lady readers… and some of the guys. XD) As of yet, there hasn’t been much reaction from the fans here, but from the test sample audience I polled over Instant Messenger last night, this page is hot stuff. Ship shows just how those Mediterranean genies shake that badonkadonk in a magical strip show and belly dance. HAWT~!

Oh ho ho! Remember that little bit about presenting them in one shot? That was a lie. Well, it was TRUE when I said it, but I change my mind a lot. In a quasi-related note, I was TV Troped under the heading “Attention Defecit Creator Disorder”. I am here to tell you that I resemble that remark.

Anyway, ONWARD! Check the “Bonus” area for a new section called “June Donate” which now contains the first page of a little story I call “Dancing With the Stars”, now with 100% more coherent commentary! (as a challenge to the readers, try and spot the two amusing “inserts” without reading the author notes, and then see if you caught all of the references. XD) So, Mace, why did you post the page already? Well, I’ll tell you why, Sparky. It’s simple, really. I realized I can get more hits and passer-by readers if I update it in segments. And we’re back on schedule, I think. Nat kicked out this page with all due alacrity and we thank her for it. I was planning on busting out pages 9 and 10 myself to set a particular mood, but then between computer problems and then getting violently ill last Friday and Saturday, there was no hope for me to get back in the swing. I’ve had this sort of tension tightness in my stomach for over a week now. not that everything isn’t sunshine and puppy dogs over here, folks. Just apologies for leaving you seemingly in the lurch like that.

I have some fun stuff coming up in the donator bonus comic, and keep in mind that the month started anew, so Nat will have a new bonus drawing very soon as well as the reward for making goal last month. Now, me personally? I’d want to make it every month. but I know that things are tight, financially, all over. But the extra work is worth it to me, folks. the only reason you haven’t seen it yet is because I am not going to present it piecemeal. You’ll get the whole shooting match when I’m finished with it, hopefully VERY soon. Because it looks like I’ll be getting into another small project. Bozhe moy, eh?!

As for this comic, looks like Alan just pulled an Ataru and is about to get curb-stomped. Oh, dear… how could he have so severely misread the situation???

Well… thanks pretty much solely to DarkCalx, and a few dollars from 4 other submitters (EVERY dollar counts, people. I hope you all enjoyed the gift images! ), we have our first XXX edition of Ship in a Bottle on its way. Now. As to actual TIMING… that’s going to be interesting. Some of you may not be aware of this, but I am vying for the illustrator slot on “The Magnificent Milkmaid” by White Lightning Publishing. It’s no big “secret”, but it’s not official that I have the job yet. There’s this matter of an assignment that I was handed THREE YEARS AGO by their editor and owner Kris Overstreet that I must complete first. Plus… gosh dangit… I told Tira to take a break due to her recent troubles and pick up with page 11. (which will go up next Friday with a HOPEFULLY Monday update of my own, i.e. page 10). So… I’m in a small pickle!

I’ll figure it out, folks. But if you her lots of Tourette’s-esque swearing and breaking of glass and small objects behind the scenes here, as always, I urge you to PAY NO ATTENTION TO THE MAN BEHIND THE CURTAIN. *cough* That is all, my friends. And thank you so much!

So, Alan makes his first formal wish… or does he? Also, the girl’s name is “Trixie Sable” for future reference, but just call her “T” or “Tracy” as Nat doesn’t like “Trixie”. XD By the way, the art may look different because I drew it, not because Nat’s arm fell off or she had a sudden bout of “terrible”. ;p

I dunno… the folks over at Peppermint Saga and Blue-Gray Rhapsody never seem to complain. I’ll be doing the next two pages as well. So.. enjoy?
