Oh ho ho! Remember that little bit about presenting them in one shot? That was a lie. Well, it was TRUE when I said it, but I change my mind a lot. In a quasi-related note, I was TV Troped under the heading “Attention Defecit Creator Disorder”. I am here to tell you that I resemble that remark.

Anyway, ONWARD! Check the “Bonus” area for a new section called “June Donate” which now contains the first page of a little story I call “Dancing With the Stars”, now with 100% more coherent commentary! (as a challenge to the readers, try and spot the two amusing “inserts” without reading the author notes, and then see if you caught all of the references. XD) So, Mace, why did you post the page already? Well, I’ll tell you why, Sparky. It’s simple, really. I realized I can get more hits and passer-by readers if I update it in segments. Plus, I am impatient. so, enjoy?

“Project: Wacko” Pg. 9

And we’re back on schedule, I think. Nat kicked out this page with all due alacrity and we thank her for it. I was planning on busting out pages 9 and 10 myself to set a particular mood, but then between computer problems and then getting violently ill last Friday and Saturday, there was no hope for me to get back in the swing. I’ve had this sort of tension tightness in my stomach for over a week now. not that everything isn’t sunshine and puppy dogs over here, folks. Just apologies for leaving you seemingly in the lurch like that.

I have some fun stuff coming up in the donator bonus comic, and keep in mind that the month started anew, so Nat will have a new bonus drawing very soon as well as the reward for making goal last month. Now, me personally? I’d want to make it every month. but I know that things are tight, financially, all over. But the extra work is worth it to me, folks. the only reason you haven’t seen it yet is because I am not going to present it piecemeal. You’ll get the whole shooting match when I’m finished with it, hopefully VERY soon. Because it looks like I’ll be getting into another small project. Bozhe moy, eh?!

As for this comic, looks like Alan just pulled an Ataru and is about to get curb-stomped. Oh, dear… how could he have so severely misread the situation???

Acheivement: Unlocked!

Well… thanks pretty much solely to DarkCalx, and a few dollars from 4 other submitters (EVERY dollar counts, people. I hope you all enjoyed the gift images! :D), we have our first XXX edition of Ship in a Bottle on its way. Now. As to actual TIMING… that’s going to be interesting. Some of you may not be aware of this, but I am vying for the illustrator slot on “The Magnificent Milkmaid” by White Lightning Publishing. It’s no big “secret”, but it’s not official that I have the job yet. There’s this matter of an assignment that I was handed THREE YEARS AGO by their editor and owner Kris Overstreet that I must complete first. Plus… gosh dangit… I told Tira to take a break due to her recent troubles and pick up with page 11. (which will go up next Friday with a HOPEFULLY Monday update of my own, i.e. page 10). So… I’m in a small pickle!

I’ll figure it out, folks. But if you her lots of Tourette’s-esque swearing and breaking of glass and small objects behind the scenes here, as always, I urge you to PAY NO ATTENTION TO THE MAN BEHIND THE CURTAIN. *cough* That is all, my friends. And thank you so much!

So, Alan makes his first formal wish… or does he? Also, the girl’s name is “Trixie Sable” for future reference, but just call her “T” or “Tracy” as Nat doesn’t like “Trixie”. XD By the way, the art may look different because I drew it, not because Nat’s arm fell off or she had a sudden bout of “terrible”. ;p

I dunno… the folks over at Peppermint Saga and Blue-Gray Rhapsody never seem to complain. I’ll be doing the next two pages as well. So.. enjoy?

AAAAHHHHHH, DON’T PANIC!!!!1

No, no, no! We’re not on hiatus, we’re not “in trouble” and we’re -NOT DEAD-! Jimminy, people. Relax a little. Here’s what *IS* happening: I am drawing the comic for three pages. And I got a little cocky and thought I’d have a page ready to fly on MONDAY. But then, I was updating the Drunk Duck site for my new series, “The Lavenders” when their server decided to FILL UP and spit back a BLANK PAGE. So I got angry and set up a new sub-domain here on Peppermint Saga’s hosting. [Here] this required an abundant amount of time, and I am back to working 4 days a week to make the money thing work, so it’s requiring a bit of schedule shuffling, especially as I still have the weekly podcast on Wednesday nights as well as my “contract” job for White Lightning. So, I’m alrady behind, then I lost two days and spent all day yesterday working on getting my mojo back. I found it around 3AM and drew a whole page. But, it still requires inking and coloring, my two least favorite things in the WORLD to do. (yeah, the thing I do on this comic besides creating and writing it is my LEAST favorite thing to do. It’s tedious. T_T)

HOWEVER! there will be a page, maybe two this week. 😉
