Ok, so we have updates galore at Frilly Pink. We ran out of money, so I can’t update Ship in a Bottle for a while, but I was able to get an artist for a new series at Frilly Pink. It’s called “Kawaii Neko Daigaku”, and it features catgirls, pantsu and all manner of embarrassing debauchery. That debuts on February 10. The bad news is that IW as planning on hiring the team of MagniFire and Saint-Tail to deliver Ship unto you all again, but the compamny startup money ened up being redirected to keeping me from being homeless. So we had a $600 shortfall that has prevented me from hiring any new talent to do anything that doesn’t have an direct subscription model. That’s why Prettio isn’t updating Mocaccino Gang, etc. I have just enough to keep our new series afloat for about 5 months, then we’re back to $0. So please, if you haven’t already, consider joining Frilly Pink. Your small sacrifice monthly may hasten the return of this series to which so many of you profess your love. ;3
If you still haven’t joined, please seriously consider it. I’ll be posting up some higher resolution versions of Members Area images over at Frilly Pink for those of you who love Ship in a Bottle, but none of my other works. I am considering how to carry this out with the comic archive as the early ones by Tira-chan are a little inconsistent (and of varying image quality due to how we used to have to do things back in the day). Plus, I need to commission colors for the b/w pages. But I suspect that this week I’ll have all of the commissioned pages such as “The Genie Handbook” and the Prettio-drawn “How to Get Clean/Dirty 2” up in there, plus any missing pinups (but nothing by Tira-Chan as we have an agreement not to use her works on a paysite since the split.) I should also have a few things by Glance at higher rez as well. At least 1000 pixels wide, minimum. To find Frilly Pink, we have a join page in the menu above and a general link at the top left of the left sidebar. So please, check it out. 🙂 (signups also help fund getting the artist for this series so we can update again, so please strongly consider it.)

Hey hey, campers! Frilly Pink http://www.frillypink.com is now open! We finally got approved by the fine folks at Vee Saw ;p See the link at the top menu bar to join!
Secodn: Ship in a Bottle’s return was a tiny bit delayed. We’re shooting for early to mid-January. Between the 15th and the 20th or so. It will resume on Fridays and I am *HOPING* Saint-Tail will be able to re-join us to do colors for MagniFire, ho will be taking on the role of artist.
Meanwhile, at Frilly Pink, Prettio’s comic has an AMAZING color cover, a gorgeous pinup of Blanche (lead character) and three pages posted in the archive. She will produce three more pages next month, plus a new full-color pinup and those will go up once a week on Saturdays! Meanwhile, Saint-Tail will be slaving away to bring you EPISODE 6 of Peppermint Saga: Blue-Gray Rhapsody starting in January with “A Leap of Faith”. This episode will feature antics from the as-yet-to-be-seen catgirl character from the “Prime” universe named “Faith”. She has a unique problem that needs a special man to solve it for her. 😉 Speaking of “Prime”, our partner-in-crime, Ebenezer Splooge of PronQuest will be introducing his new series: Splortgate: SG-Prime. It’s a Stargate pastiche with a very unique cast of characters. And as if that was not enough excitement, you remember Glance Reviver, the artist who drew this series just before Prettio stepped in? She’s got a series of fandom inspired short comics ranging from all the things she loves. First, “Rightful King: a direct reference to the Nintendo 3DS game Fire Emblem: Awakenings. The mysterious stranger has some tips for the returning heroes wedding night. What will be the result? Then stick around, Tales of Vesperia fans as Yuri and Estelle decide to include Flynn in their adventures… in the bedroom. He gets to experience a new kind of high when the dynamic duo show HIM what it’s like to BE the magic carpet ride in a comic called “OT3”. (yes, I just made a fucking Steppenwolf reference. Deal with it ;p)
So be sure to check in often as we have a metric fuckton of content coming your way for January 2014!
See you in the new year, kids. ;3

Just a quick reminder of what MagniFire can do. I think you all will be pleased when the series returns. 😉

I’ve been saying for a while that could I have gone back in time and hired Prettio from Day One, this comic might have turned out a LOT different. And in some respects, all to the better. But due to certain economic circumstances, I had to ask Prettio to put down her digital pen and this series ground to a halt. In the intervening time, Glance and I have been working in earnest to bring Frilly Pink to life so you could not only enjoy our sexy stylings, but that of several other amazing artists we’ve come into contact with over the years, all in one convenient location for one low, low price. With that in mind, I asked Prettio to bring a concept to the table that she’s been working on, silently, for quite some time. Possibly years. But I realized something: this series was the only one updating with any consistency. And in order to successfully launch my site with my new business partners, I had to have this traffic, what little it was.
So I approached another artist. Now, before you blow a gasket, know that Prettio and I have discussed this (and Saint-Tail has been included in the talks as well, as she was coloring the whole thing and doing BGR as well), and we agreed that the Show must go on. So I’m going to go ahead and let you all know that I have hired MagniFire, the gentleman I hired to finish “Nocturne in Moonlight” for BGR before Saint-Tail took over. He’s a very solid artist with some fairly strong anatomy skills and I think his style, while different from Prettio’s (by a lot) will still be very enjoyable to look at. So, starting in a few weeks, Chapter 6 will resume in earnest with a new artist at the helm. One caveat is that we will probably have some spotty colors as Saint-Tail is busy with BGR and her day job, so I may pick up the reins when I can, other times we will have to wait for colors. But, regardless of that, the series will be BACK, and with minimal loss of time. And hopefully soon, I’ll be able to give you official news of Frilly Pink (although for the scant few options we have for payment, the gateway is functional, and there is some content up there).
So, there ya go.
