There’s No Such Thing as a Vulcan Death Grip!

Indeed.

Which means the reports of my demise were premature. What we DO have is some great new stuff in the Members area, such as The Genie Handbook Pg. 4 and a great new pinup by Sage, this time, featuring Ship and some very loving goo. Oh boy!

In other news, I am putting the PayPal donation thingee back up on a TRIAL basis. Here’s what I CAN’T do: I cannot give you “free” anything for your donations. I cannot offer monthly pinups for your generosity. I cannot give out memberships to the members area if you donate X dollars. But, what I can do is this: I can promise extra free content if we get, say, $100 to $150 a month. This will be for everyone, and you can donate as much or as little as you want. But the hard reality is that if I include myself, there’s three of us to take care of now, and the paysite doesn’t do it on it’s own. We raked in a whopping $60 last month. Now, what we are NOT doing is getting rid of the paysite. That is a separate thing, and financing it will resume as soon as I get a new job next month and pay off a few things. The content there is an exclusive for those who are able to use the currently accepted methods, and will continue as long as I am able to make it work. We will still feature the Genie Handbook, pinups from Sage, Tira-chan, myself and now Tessa. There’s even a small bonus comic in the works.

That said, I am working my ass off to get the scratch together to get us set up for CC Bill in the European Union. Once that is done, I will be able to offer the Members area to one and all because it will accept Visa.

Computer Blue

So my computer is died. Yup, it is indeed dead but luckily I’m surrounded by tech savvy people so I have a computer I can work on and it’s a matter of waiting to extract the data from my HDD, including all those delicious drawings I’ve been working on. I’ve got a new computer coming as well and hopfully a new tablet in the future. Thanks for everyone’s support and help! I’ll be back to normal in no time!

On an unrelated note, I’m gonna listen to more Prince today.

Oh Trix. No one will ever leave you alone. You’re too pretty to keep out of zany shenanigans.

Also, I’m so sorry! I went away for the weekend to work at A-kon and my computer decided to drink Tessa flavored haterade and not work!

Game of Thrones – Winning and Dying

Jun04

I heard of the song of Ice and Fire series when I was a young, wide-eyed middle schooler playing the bagpipes. I thought it seemed cool but I didn’t want to give my bullies any more reason to come at me so I didn’t read it (yes I got my ass kicked for reading, once). However, most of those bullies are dead or in a house full of illegitimate children because I cursed them with my magic powers…just kidding. I’m not that loopy. Anyway, I held off reading the series and once Lord of the Rings came out, I gave up on fantasy. Then HBO adapted into a series and I thought: Finally, I don’t have to read! So I started watching it and it’s AWESOME! It juggles a bazillion storylines beautifully. It also makes some pretty neat side characters who die horribly. It’s like a ren faire gone terribly right full of kickass swords and ominous threats. However, as the show went on, I got tempted to make spot and constitution checks.  It’s really D&D heavy. I used to play, but that’s another story. Anyway, the show is cool because their are strong women in it who exist in a place where strong women are uncommon but they’re not mary-sues. Oh no, they are filled with flaws, emotions, and desires like any other woman in any place or time in the world. I like this show. There’s no one I want to win in this world they created…but there’s no one I want to die either. However, as Queen Cersei says, “There is no middle ground. In the Game of Thrones, you win or you die.”
