Did anyone notice the keywords on these pages? Now, some folks use them exclusively for Search Engine Optimization (SEO), but I also like to use them to give the readers subtle hints as to what just happened and what is to come. So keep an eye on them. Also, some of them are just loltastic.

So, Ship has quickly come to terms with Alan’s request… or has she? And Alan is pleased as punch. But if any of you are thinking that this is it for the unrequited lovebirds or the Green Eyed Monster, well folks, all I can say is: down that road lies madness. I mean, it would be a pretty shit story if I broke it off like that and everything was hunky dory ever after, right?

April is when the goths come out...


That’s right, mah chickadees. April is here, and we have some scrumpdiddlyicious Ship comin’ atcha. this month’s incentive is (against someone’s suggestion… sorry, bro…) Goth Ship from the Ch. 2 cover. Full color and all sparkly with magic stuff! Now, as per usual, with a $2 or greater donation, this little lovely can be yours in all her hi-rez glory. And actually, this is a quite sexy piece in that it hints and teases the viewer just a little, forcing them to use their imaginations a little. I know, I know… “Imajuhnashunz?! Wut u tink we iz heres?” I know exactly what you are: my beloved readers. Now… try and tell me you don’t want to buy her some candy. Go on… I dare ya. ;3

“time to get… Clean” Final

Well, Ship’s apron is gone. Show of hands: who didn’t see that coming? Yep. You two who raised your hands? See me after class. We’ll discuss this later. *stern look*

That’s it for our cutesy first omake. I hope you enjoyed it. A little background: when I approached tira-chan about doing the comic originally, she had no prior experience doing a comic at all. So I suggested she “get her feet wet” by taking this silly little idea I had and running with it for two pages. The first and last are the actual results of that. When I decided to use these “test” pages as an actual filler between chapters, tira actually redrew many key elements of the pages, and then I got the brilliant idea that there needed to be some evidence of REAL magic, so we cobbled together page 2. The rest… is history. And I think it came out beautifully. As always, I hope you think so, too.

Anywho! Next week, I will be providing the Chapter 2 cover so tira-chan has some time to work on the opening of Chapter 2 and hopefully get ahead. There’s some much crazier stuff afoot in chapter 2. Classrooms and giant robots and lesbian super geniuses… oh my!
