So it begins again, as it always should have been! And it’s all thanks to the efforts of our Patrons who ponied up the cash and all of you, the readers, who put the word out about our campaign and kept coming back to see what was appearing in this space. Your efforts have paid off, your voices have been heard!
Once again, we are here in that place where Alan arrives at his late grandfather’s shop. What will be different this time? Who will he meet? Will history repeat itself? Find out as our sexy story unfolds!
~Mace
The story starts off with the main protagonist’s parents and grandfather DEAD. That’s pretty hardcore.
Is Alan related to Spiderman? XD Still just started reading this, looks interesting so far.
I know I’m way late, but I just came here from related comics, and am starting to read it.
But I just wanted to say that the Furby in the first panel is creepy as fuck. Perfect depiction of the real things.
Now on to binge reading.
Welcome aboard!
Lovely opening scene and an intriguing array of curios. These things all look like authentic antiques you’d find in an actual store instead of a generic pile of priceless vases.
Maybe I’m confused, but the narration boxes seem to shift from present tense to past tense over the first two panels. Is he describing the present or looking back on the past?
Great mood in the final panel; he’s clearly not impressed with the mystic decor of this place.
It’s a little of both, actually. A few parts background, plus some reflection on the events that are to come in the unfolding chapters (I use the diary style narration at the opening of each chapter, so Alan himself may not use 100% proper grammar. In the sequel series after chapter 6, it’s all “present tense” without the narration because it’s all happening as we see it from then on). I currently have a long-term plan for three major story arcs: “Dreaming of Genie” (which is the title of the first chapter AND the over arcing story of the first series), “Back Into the Bottle”, and finally, “The Lionmane, the Tigerstripes and The Bearclaws, oh My!” (although I say “finally” only because I haven’t thought any further ahead than that XD)
You spoiling, fun spoiler, Mace! The 3rd arc title tells of things I didn’t want to know yet! 😀
I’m a new reader & very confused
Not a lot to say just yet, other than… welcome aboard? We’re re-starting the series. There’s an older version in the “Classic Archive” above in the menu that covers the past 5 years worth of updates. This new version has much more sex, nudity, perversion and silliness than the old one. And better art. So, stay tuned on Fridays!
Now that I have read the old stuff, I completely understand the reboot. I hope the pacing will be better & more stuff explained.
Absolutely. A large part of what is going on here is directly attributable to fan input over the years. PrettÃo, our current artist, read over the script I gave her, and we chatted about it for a while before this page was even produced. Some items will be the same as before, even if just in spirit, but this is definitely a fresh angle on this story. Ship is wiser, Alan is kinder and less vacuous. But you won’t have to take my word for it. We’ve got enough updates banked thanks to Patreon to be moving forward for a while. Thanks for taking the time to comment. 🙂
I look forward to reading this
I glad that I check this site every week. Seems my patience has finally paid off. Welcome back.
Indeed! We’re glad to hear from our lost readers who have returned to us. ^^
Certainly looks better colored than last time, this is going to be interesting!
Funny tag of the week:
Pop-Pop really needed a maid – For a couple of reasons. I mean, Pop-Pop had Ship! She is/can be a maid.
I believe Pop-Pop might’ve been using Ship’s maid abilities as a non-American maid, if you catch my drift!
Oui oui, Pop-Pop a cornée trop, je crois.
Actually, no. “Pop-pop” or “Grandpa” in this case, didn’t know much about the existence of Ship. Or, perhaps, if he DID know, he steered clear of that bottle. Ship was RONALD’S genie last, and he’s been dead since the Korean War. Maybe the early years of Vietnam. I haven’t quite decided yet. Ronald was the GREAT Grandfather, who would have been an adult in 1915 when Ship was last seen. 😉
Doh… I mentally skipped a generation, my bad.
My primary point remains the same though: Ship would do quite well as a special maid. She’s shown interest in the past, all those extra pictures of sexy maid Ship.
Know what? I’m just going to refer to that Ship as SMS for the future! Yums.
Amusingly, TeaGreen was planning on doing a filler comic called “Maid Service” about just that sort of thing. Sadly, her computer crashed and the only evidence that remains of it are the two pages I have sitting on my desktop that I preserved before wiping out the old archive. I may post them up in the “Members Area” for our Patreon supporters so they can get a glimpse of something that almost was. XD
I knew I were on to something!
