What Would I get From the New Paysite?

Some of you may be voting blind since I have been a little bit vague about what you would be getting for $9.95 a month, so I wanted to clarify in case some of y’all wanted to change your votes or, who knows. You could be one on the fence. Here’s the skinny:

-New comics (1-5 pages per month each) from:
*Prettio, Tea_Green, “Mace Paladino”, Dark Zuri, Sage, and a couple others as yet undetermined.
-Additional bonuses and pinups for Ship in a Bottle
-Additional bonuses and pinups for Peppermint Saga
-Original pinups from each of our selected artists and maybe some guests I commission as I see fit
-And more!

So, you would not be just getting a whole lot more of the same as you got for $4.95, you would get that, plus a whole lot more!

Blog Thursday!

Back in the day, I used to post “Blog Tuesday” at Peppermint Saga in order to increase my average number of weekly updates by +1. This was ostensibly an excuse to get people to keep coming back to the site more than just once a week. Now, that doesn’t mean some folks won’t come here daily, regardless. It’s just an added incentive if you are amused by the warped musings of my addled mind. And brother, let me tell you, today is no different. I’ve been working on a new commission lately. Someone decided that my comicking skills were sufficient that they would actually clank down money to have me draw some shit. I was both befuddled and pleased as this means my girlfriend and I will be able to keep ourselves supplied with dollar cans of soup and Cheese Whiz. Also, I drink enough tea to trump the Boston Tea Party. But I digress. Anyway, this new commission is an interesting piece, and all I can really tell you is that it will eventually be available at my fur Affinity account because it’s just a wee bit too different to go up in my dA gallery. Sufficient to say, the guy who drew The Magnificent Milkmaid during the end of it’s (apparently) final episode(?) will never shy away from adversity and I SHALL persevere!

The Egg That Should Not Be

While making scrambled eggs today, I realize my cooking style is a hybrid of Gordon Ramsey and Paula Deen. I also realized that scrambled eggs have a point where they’re really gross. It’s the point right before they become safe to eat and start solidifying but get all slimy and liquid. It’s like some kind of inappropriate fluid from a thing of not of this world. Perhaps this is the exhumed residue of the thing that should not be. On an unrelated note ‘The Thing That Should Not Be’ is one of my favorite Metallica songs. I would squarely put it in my top five. I usually hum this song to myself when I’m cooking anyway so perhaps this is what has warped my mind when it comes to scrambling eggs.

Since Tea has been having some technical difficulties all this past week, I am posting a temporary placeholder. This is based off a progress shot she sent me sometime last night. So several of the colors may seem weird at first. Hopefully, we’ll have the real page up tonight, but I wanted something for y’all to see in the meantime. ^^

Anyway, Alan discovers Clara chillaxin’ in the shop downstairs and much to his great surprise, their first customer is a woman that puts brick shithouses the world over to shame. Before he can object to Clara’s presence, she rushes off to assist the new patron, leaving Alan at a loss for words.

WHAT GOOD CAN POSSIBLY COME FROM THIS?! And more importantly… what kind of “antique” shop is this, to attract such an unusual looking patron?
