So, I imagine this is finally the page everyone was waiting for (unless you are the dudes and ladies waiting for the OTHER side of this duo to shed his togs, in which case you got a bit more waiting to do ;p). Ship finally makes her splendiloquent and splashy first appearance in the comic, and thus, her nudity (and Alan’s lack of nudity…) on the cover is explained! I think…?

Honestly, the only answer I can give is a sort of either/or riddle. Either she’s been in there forever, or she hasn’t. Most stories about genies are less than 5000 years old. But Persia wasn’t a happening place until about 3000 years ago. Now, you should read up on Zoroastrianism. Those guys were fatalistic, but they knew how to party 😉
